Options X Abstract Policies


Abstract Submission for OPTIONS X is now open  


 

The Organising Committee for OPTIONS X invite abstracts of original research to be submitted by 1 April 2019. Abstracts received after this date will not be processed. Abstracts must be submitted online via the Options X website. Abstracts submitted by any other means will not be accepted.

  1. Types of Submission Abstracts can be submitted for consideration for oral presentation and/or poster presenation. Those chosen for oral presentation will be required to present for 10 minutes followed by 2 minutes for discussion. For poster presentations, there will be a dedicated area for posters and dedicated poster sessions for authors to present their work.
  2. Confirmation  Upon submission of an abstract, the author will receive an automated acknowledgement via email. No acknowledgement indicates that the abstract has not been received.   3. Notification of Acceptance The presenting author of each accepted abstract will be notified by email. There will be two notification deadlines. For abstracts submitted by 28 February, notification of acceptance will be sent out by 29 March 2019. For abstracts submitted after 28 February notification will be sent by 17 May 2019.
  4. Publication
    Upon acceptan of the abstract, tne presenting author must register for the conference to present at the oral session or poster presentation. Following registration, it is assumed that permission is granted for publication on the conference website. Full registration and payment is to be completed by 28 June 2019. Abstracts will be published as submitted.
  5. General Submission Guidelines
  • Abstract must be submitted via the conference website
  • Abstract must be in English only
  • To enable a comprehensive review, the abstract must include the following sections: Introduction, method, result, conclusion
  • Abstracts must be submitted before 1 April 2019 to be considered
  • Abstracts may be edited up to the close of abstract submission, 1 April 2019. Following the abstract submission deadline, no further editing will be permitted.
  • Abstracts will be reviewed solely on the basis of the data submitted in the abstract
  • STRUCTURE: The title must be brief, concise and in capital letters. The abstract body has a maximum of 300 words only. For each co-author, the affiliation, city and country should be listed. Please do not include references in the abstract.
